Wellbeing Advisor is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage our financial operations. This is a critical role that ensures the financial integrity of our organisation, supporting our ability to deliver uninterrupted, high-quality mental health services. You will work closely with management to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records including income, expenses, and reconciliations.
- Process client payments across multiple channels (cash, mobile banking, FonePay, cards).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Manage payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with Nepal's tax regulations, including VAT and TDS filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Monitor budgets, flag variances, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of relevant accounting or finance experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, or similar tools).
- Working knowledge of Nepal's tax and financial compliance requirements.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
